Don Evans President

 

Don Evans joined Foundation Services Cooperative in 2008 and brings with him over 15 years of experience in strategic gift planning, charitable fund development and organizational management.   Don began his career in Phoenix with the American Foundation where he served as Vice President of Development.  By focusing his efforts on strategic alliances, he facilitated tremendous growth through financial planning institutions and law firms nationwide.

 

In addition to his work in the charitable field, Don co-founded Ascent Development in 2001, a new products and technology development firm.  Don has invented and successfully licensed many products ranging from media packaging to housewares, including the award winning Oxiclean “Oxiball” and “Toss –n- Go” laundry detergents.  Don manages his firm’s ongoing partnership interests in multiple online, technology and management companies.

 

Don serves on the Board of Directors for the Rose Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public non-profit organization that began in 1997.  The foundation’s mission is to promote, support, and establish educational opportunities for children in disadvantaged areas of Guatemala.  The foundation is currently educating thousands of children in the communities of Chimaltenango, Patzicia and Momostenango.

 

Don has degrees from both Utah Valley University and from the University of Utah.  He resides in South Jordan, Utah with his wife Andrea and their three children.

 

 

 

Ben Schaub Founder

 

Ben L. Schaub is a champion of philanthropy, charitable enhancement and charitable reform, based on more than three decades of experience working with charities and foundations and consulting with individual, family and corporate donors.

 

Since receiving his Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University Law School in 1976, he has pioneered numerous unique planning concepts and techniques that are revolutionizing the growth and development of both corporate and family foundations.

 

Using such innovations as the Wealth Replacement Trust concept, the Charitable Partnership Trust, and family foundations that function under one or more public charity status formats, he has helped create hundreds of foundations and charitable trusts.

 

Recently, he has developed new charitable planning techniques including the CRT Split Advantage, The Family Farm Foundation concept, the Founding Fathers Foundation and the Foundation Investment Advantage.
